MORE than four decades after the sexual revolution made casual flings socially acceptable, most women still think one-night stands are wrong.

A study by psychologists found that, even if women had enjoyed a brief fling themselves, they viewed the practice in a very negative light. There were also some strong views about why women would want to have a one-night stand, with a suggestion that they had something lacking in their lives.
