DARREN Clarke of Northern Ireland and Lee Westwood of England were handed wild cards by Ian Woosnam in Munich last night as Europe assembled arguably its strongest 12 man side in nearly 80 years of Ryder Cup action to face the USA in the 36th match at the K Club, near Dublin, later this month.
