MARIUS Zaliukas intends to return to Edinburgh to resume contract negotiations with Hearts. Club sources suggested earlier this week that the centre-half's wage demands had put paid to his chances of a new deal, but, speaking in Lithuania yesterday, the Tynecastle captain insisted he had not given up hope.
"I read today on the internet stories about my future and I don't know where they are coming from," said Zaliukas, who is part of the Lithuania squad for tonight's Euro 2012 qualifier against Scotland.
